The recently renovated cellar building is now a comfortable 10 sleeper guest house on the main property of Boschrivier Wines Accommodation. All of the accommodation is surrounding by farmland and natural fauna and flora, with a 5 min walking to the foot of the mountain or a forest with roosting owls and porcupine burrows. The old cellar house is perfect for extended family celebrations, groom or bridegroom parties or travelling groups of friends. The renovated old cellar has a gas top stove as well as gas donkey geysers for when Eskom pushes us off the grid. There's a cozy indoor fireplace as well as balcony braai with allocated invasive-cleared braai wood (extra wood can be purchased). The rooms have sleek and modern finishes for a comfortable and peaceful rest.

Had a great stay. The surroundings were beautiful, and the property itself was clean, comfortable and well kept. Regarding the walks around the farm, it would have been nice to have a sort of signage on the ground and not only the map. The hot tub was a brilliant surprise, and kayaking on the dam was a lot of fun.

A lovely stay in the renovated cellar farm with my family in beautiful surroundings! Decor, confort was great inside but really missing a confortable sitting area outside with a table... Crockery, cooking ustensils could have been more for a big party like us. The coffee plunger could only do one cup of coffee at a time for 9 people! But as we requested a bigger one it was done straight away! Re the walks / hikes around the farm, it would have been nice to have a sort of signage on the ground not only the map. Thanks Laing for a very peaceful few days.

Definitely recommend staying here! The location is peaceful and the house had all we needed for a relaxing visit. Laing is responsive, helpful and easy to communicate with. The kayaks on the dam were a fun highlight. The Boschrivier wines are delicious and Henriette was a fantastic host for the tasting. We enjoyed our stay very much!

We form part of a farming community and neighbourhood, at the edge of the Overberg farmlands. We are at the foot of beautifully Fynbos rich mountains that are a must-see sight for everyone. The accommodation on the farm provide guests with a safe space to explore silence, solitude and the natural wildness of this area. Don't be surprised to see some wild roaming fallow deer, porcupine, mongoose, hares and more across the farm.

We can provide assistance to the various spaces on the farm. A small to large SUV or larger off-road vehicle is best for some of the gravel road and field driving, although accommodation is accessible with any vehicle.
We are centrally located to explore a whole avenue of areas in the Overberg: Stanford (21km), Hermanus (40km) and Gansbaai/De Kelders (40km) to the South/West;
Caledon (35km) to the North; and
Napier (29km), Arniston (68km) and Aghulas (80) to the South/ East.
