What a stunning find! We wanted a place which would be big enough to accommodate the extended family, in a serene and beautiful place and where we could feel at home. We got that and more. We all wished we could stay another few nights! Very highly recommended
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Gledsmuir Farm! The house is incredibly spacious and thoughtfully appointed. The helpful and friendly staff members made our experience even more delightful. Celebrating Easter here was an absolute joy, and we’re already looking forward to returning! 🌼🏡🐣🐑
The farmhouse is absolutely incredible and is enormous. Perfect for a large group looking for a farmhouse stay with loads of space for two or even 3 families. This farmhouse is really high end / luxurious and very well furnished and everything is in top condition. The bedrooms and bathrooms are particularly nice The sprawling gardens and surrounds are beautiful with an amazing pool and braai area. It’s close to Stanford too (5 mins away) and perfect to explore the area with local breweries, bakeries, restaurants and wine farms nearby to visit. I was sad to leave. I rate this place 5 stars and I’ll definitely be back. The hosts and their staff were amazing too.

Hello- Our base is currently Mooikloof, Pretoria, South Africa we are a family of four and purchased Gledsmuir Farm many years ago, to raise our two sons. We enjoy the Outdoors, Horses, fishing, visiting neighbouring countries such as Botswana , Moz, Zim etc. Andrea's passion is horses, we have the Gledsmuir@Mooikloof Stable yard and I'm passionate about wildlife and the bush, I run between Al Thandiwe Game Farm and Pretoria. We enjoy our estate in the Cape, which is great place to catch up with family and friends. Barbecues, red wine and friends make our farm memories so special to us. Check out, all our lodges on my profile if you ever looking for a Bush break or a break in the Cape. Since we are not permanently on our properties we have super staff to ensure that your stay is memorable.
