Relax with the whole family at this peaceful farmhouse within short drives to Falmouth, St Ives & Truro Enjoy wonderful views of open fields and grazing horses from the front of the house. Equipped for large groups or multi-family bookings this retreat is truly wonderful. Please note the stables and horses are not to be fed or touched without the permission of the owners. The driveway is also used by those tending to their horses, there is still ample room for 5 cars for the guests As you enter the property you are met with a boot room for shoes and coat storage which leads on to a second front door. Through the second front door you will find a country style hallway with beautiful paneling that leads to a modern kitchen equipped with an induction hob, large double electric oven (range style), large pantry, American style fridge freezer, TV, breakfast bar, coffee machine, hot water tap and all the cooking ware and crockery you would expect in a kitchen. Opposite the kitchen is the a large dining room with ample space to seat 12 guests, a large granite fireplace with log burner and beautiful views across the fields. Further along the hallway there is a utility room – with a washing machine and tumble dryer, a downstair WC and the living room. The living room has a large 66” TV and seating for 12 guests, multiple small tables for drinks, as well as views reaching across the country side. Off of the living room you will find a conservatory with a table and chairs and a few board games. At the back of the house there is a good sized garden, with 2 large picnic benches seating 16 people and plenty of space for children (human and furry) to run around. On the second floor of the house you are met with a large wrap around hallway. At the front of the house there are 3 bedrooms (2 king size and 1 bunk bed with a single on top and small double on the bottom) and a main bathroom with shower, bath and toilet. The 2 king size bedrooms have stunning views across the fields. At the back of the house there are 3 further bedrooms, two doubles with en-suites (showers & toilets) and a twin bedroom consisting of a day bed with a pull out trundle bed. All bed linen and towels provided for each bedroom. Check in is at 4pm and check out is at 10am. Depending on bookings we may be able to exercise some flexibility with these times. Within a few minutes drive are some lovely restaurants – Wendron pancake barn and the wheel dream are two of our favorites. Large Tesco for all your necessities is a 7 minute drive away. Helston town is a 10 mintues drive away where there are ample pubs and restaurants. Porthleven is the nearest beach and is 15 minutes drive away. You’ll find ample pubs, restaurants, tea shops, bakers and shops here as well as a lovely market in the ship yard. Porthleven benefits from a harbour as well as a beach and it a lovely place to have a stroll around. And if you are after a bit of adventure, we are only 10 minutes away from Flambards theme park which is perfect for the little members of the family!
