Very excellent location, overlooked Vondelpark so quite peaceful - and within an 8-minute walk from both the Rijksmuseum and the Van Gogh Museum. Staff is very friendly and check-in was quite easy. Great value for what you pay. Overall, the room itself is on the small-side, but isn't an issue if you intend on being out and about during your time in Amsterdam. Close walk to the tram (5-minutes) that can take you to and from the Centraal Station. I would recommend and be interested in staying again at this location if I'm ever back in Amsterdam.

Had a lovely stay in Amsterdam thanks to Sonder was a lovely hotel in an ideal location. The only negative we had from our trip was the room we paid for a spacious double room which we got however the room was below ground level so no opening windows, no views and not much daylight. Also the room is right next to the cleaners cupboards so you have lots of noise outside room when they start work around 8am. I feel this should be reflected in the description and price as this room is certainly not the same as ones shown in pictures. Other than this we would come back to Sonder providing we could stay in a different room.

lovely hotel right at the heart of city. Public transports are easily accessible within waking distance. the staffs were lovely and very helpful, much deserved that 5 stars. I would recommend this place to anyone who is visiting this beautiful city.
