Shira was a great host, she met us at the store to show us how to get to her place and helped us carry groceries up the stairs to our place below her’s. The view is awesome and it was a peaceful stay. We used the tower and box fans in the space to keep air moving which was nice for sleep.
We had a wonderful stay at Shira’s place. It was a perfect place to stay while stayed on St. John’s. Quiet and peaceful and an amazing view!
We loved staying at Sira's place it had an amazing view and the location was perfect. It was very clean and well kept. It had everything we needed for cooking our meals at home. I would highly recommend this place if you want to relax and get away from it all!
Simplicity is a great value and quiet base for exploring St John. We visited mid March and Shira told us it was unseasonably warm. As the house faces east, there is a beautiful sunrise over the bay and it warms up quickly! We certainly appreciated the fans! Shira gave great instructions on getting up and down the driveway as well as beach recommendations. There is a grocery and snorkel/chair rental close by. A jeep USA must! We loved Gingy the cat and look forward to returning!

A university professor at the university of the Virgin Islands in St. Thomas, since 1995, and an artist. Went to school at New York university and live and teach on island since 1991. I fell in love with St. John and wanted to spend the rest of my life on this heavenly island. The view is spectacular There is nothing like waking up in the morning or ending your day with the view from my place. Coral bay, where the property is, is peaceful and laid back.
