Great small town to visit. The house was right on the water. The only thing to remember is there is a train that runs through the town all day. It did not disturb me at all.

this is a great place to stay, very comfortable, wonderful views of the canal and boardwalk -- we enjoyed people watching. It was easy to get around and the hosts were very nice and helpful.

We spent a month at Elaine's place and plan to do so again next year. She was an excellent host and the space is sunny with a fun decor. Also, the location can't be beat for walks along the canal trail and shopping or for attending festivals.

Elaine was a super host, Elaine communicated with us well always responding within the hour to any messages and she was very accommodating when we asked to shift our stay by a day. Elaine was very welcoming on arrival checking with us that all was well. We found the place clean, comfortable, well equipped with fun decor with the art and furnishings. Some lovely local books to read among others and information on the local area. We were very pleased with our stay and would highly recommend Elaine’s accommodation Thank you Nicola

We loved our stay at the Fairport Triangle House! There were 5 people in our party and we had plenty of space. We loved the comfy beds. The setting directly on the Erie Canal was very peaceful and relaxing and the use of kayaks was a great bonus. We met the hosts when they helped us with the kayaks and they were very friendly and knowledgeable of the area, but also very unobtrusive during our stay. We have another trip to the area in the future and plan to stay here again!
