We stayed at Eleni's cottage for 6 nights in early October and it was pretty much perfect in every way. Eleni was easy to communicate with and made sure we had everything we needed. She was away for most of our stay but her lovely neighbour stepped in to check us in and kept bringing us delicious homemade treats! The cottage is charming and equipped with everything we needed - the kitchen in particular is very well set up. It's located in a very peaceful area with amazing views out to Ithaca from the terrace. There are a couple of very good tavernas that are walkable (20-25 mins) and it is only a short drive to many more restaurants and beaches. We would highly recommend staying at Eleni's cottage and hope we have the chance to return.

Eleni's house was one of the best Airbnb experiences that my partner and I have had. The house itself is beautiful and felt like a proper home. The terrace had incredible views to the sea and Ithaca and we watched the sun rise from behind Ithaca from the terrace every morning. The house is very well located with (in our view) lots of the best, most remote beaches in Kefalonia nearby. Fiskardo is also an 8 minute drive away. Eleni was so responsive and kind, let us borrow her son's mountain bicycle and gave us lots of great tips for the area. She even gave us some Kefalonian honey, white wine, grapes and her own home-made marmalade and sweet liquor which was all delicious. Her friend was also so lovely and popped by the house to bring us homemade pastries in the morning on two of the days. We really had the best time at Eleni's house and would recommend the house to anyone wanting to visit Kefalonia.

We had a lovely stay at Eleni’s place. If you want a truly authentic greek experience in Kefalonia, this is the place. Beautiful view, cozy house equipped with all you need. The cherry on the cake was the hospitality from Eleni. She helps with all your questions and she even brings freshly baked bread. What more can you ask from your Airbnb host. Thank you Eleni!

Our first visit to Cephalonia was made all the more enjoyable by staying at Eleni’s beautiful cottage. The views were breathtaking and in such a quiet and peaceful location. The cottage has such character and there was everything there we needed. We enjoyed sitting outside enjoying the view across to Ithaca and inside the stone cottage stays lovely and cool. It’s a good idea to have a car as there are so many places to visit in this part of the island. Would definitely recommend a stay here.

If you’re looking to escape the hassle and stress of life , this is the place to come . The location is amazing with perfect views . The place is a step back to authentic Greece. Host is amazing
