Great place. Loads of space, much more than pictures suggest. Easy access to town and park but close to walks from the doorstep. Beautiful area. The kitchen was very well stocked which made home cooking very easy. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay.

We had a family get together for a birthday celebration weekend at Clock Cottage. There were six of us and a Jack Russel with two others in a nearby property. The cottage was absolutely ideal for our needs. It's very spacious and had everything that was required, feeling very homely. The location is excellent and very quiet but only a short step into town and nearby attractions. We didn't have great weather but there was plenty we could do over a weekend. All in all a very pleasant stay and would heartily recommend.

Loved our Easter stay at Bentley Brook in Matlock, great location and if you love the outdoors - as we do - it is perfect for walks in the Dales. Went up to Stanton Moor which is highly recommended, some superb walks, mountain bikes and pubs. We found the house super clean, it had a great internal space for 7 of us, it was cosy warm and the large kitchen and dining area made our family get together very special. Thanks so much Mike.
