Welcome to Wasi ! Room #1 By Costa Rentals providing functional, simple, tranquil stays for your vacation. Wasi is located 3 blocks from the ocean and one block from the main street full of restaurants, bars and shops of all kinds in La Punta The room has a matrimonial bed and individual bed, ceiling and floor fan with private bathroom and shower (NO HOT WATER OR AC) There is a fully equipped outdoor kitchen and picnic tables in the patio under palm trees to enjoy your meals. The room is a wooden cabin style with a matrimonial, individual bed, night stand, ceiling and standing fan, closet with drawers, mirror and private full bathroom (no ac or hot water). Relaxing outdoor hallway area in front of each room that has a cotton hammock, lounge chair, Acapulco chair, small table and drying line. The outdoor common kitchen is fully equipped to prepare meals with two stoves, cooking pots and pans, two refrigerators, coffee maker, microwave, blender and cooking utensils. Each room has a designated space in the refrigerator and cabinet with your room number on it. The patio is full of palm trees, there is two picnic tables available for the guests to eat or relax under the shadows of the palm trees. Outdoor shower to wash the sand off, a surfboard rack and gymnastic rings. *PARKING INSIDE* Gate opens without a key, please don't block the entrance. Water pipes are superficial by the entry on the left, make sure to keep your right when you enter. FREE STREET PARKING, NO PARKING ALLOWED IN OUR SIDE, street well illuminated street and surveillance camera. La Punta is a place full of nature and insects like mosquitos are normal of a tropical environment, we fumigate once a week, but we want you to be aware that we cannot control nature. * if you need an extra fumigation during your stay, let us known during working hours* (9:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M. Mon - Fri / 9:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M Sun). The property is share with other guest and that comes with sounds and movement, although the room is private and we have a noise curfew, be aware that all rooms are continuous in one line and share a wall, the windows have no glass only mosquito net. Also we are located in the heart of La Punta an area flourishing with businesses that are allowed to be open till 12 by municipal order, although we are conveniently located on the street behind the Main Street we want you to be aware of the proximity noises this brings. As well as developing constructions nearby, all these is beyond our hands and we can’t do anything about the noises this can cause. * Keep these in mind before making a reservation, as there will be no cancellations or refunds base on these matters*

WASI is located one tiny block away from the main road that has all the restaurants and shops, and a straight shot to the beach. Everything is walkable, it’s a one minute walk to get to where the public transportation picks us up and takes up ALL around Puerto Escondido. Great location. There’s always staff (housekeepers and a host) on site, which are friendly, helpful and nice to have nearby. Every room has a hammock outside. There’s an outside shower to rinse off sand after the beach. The kitchen is a shared space with cubbies for everyone, and during our stay they updated the stove. It’s quiet, breezy, and has reliable WiFi. If I come back to Puerto, I’ll be staying here again.

Fue un viaje de trabajo. Se hospedaron mis compañeros de trabajo y todo muy bien, el cuarto ordenado, limpio, fiel a las fotos, cerca de la playa. La llegada fue sencilla, aunque al principio fue dificil abrir la puerta. La llegada autónoma es muy cómoda, sin embargo, preferimos un poco más de interacción humana que solo un email automatizado. :)

La Punta is a known surf spot in Oaxaca, the beach is a favorite of locals to watch the sunset or enjoy the day at the beach, also at the end of the beach there’s a light house on the rocks, during the low tide is possible to walk through the caves on the rocks and access the beach in the other side.
Aside of all the beautiful nature that surrounds us, La Punta is a thriving place for local businesses from restaurants, coffee shops, bars to stores of all kinds.
We are located in the heart of the neighborhood, a 5 minutes walk to the sea and a one block from the main Street where you can find anything you might need.

We are a 17-minute taxi ride from the airport
The best and cheapest way is Wigo van, Wigo is an airport service that brings you to the location for 100 pesos *Prices vary from seasons* but you need to share the ride with it other passengers.
*Taxis inside the airport charge around 200 pesos, don’t pay more!!*
*There is no direct public transport that goes from the airport to la Punta*
*From the ADO terminal or the center of town you can take a small white pickup with blue*
*cover in the back* tell them to la Punta, they will leave you in the entrance of la Punta by a store call
7+1 from there is a 10 minute walk downhill to the location.
*There is also a big bus that enters la Punta* white color,it passes in front of Chedraui*
*Also there is a brown taxi that does the same route* is a share taxi with other passengers*
These pass every 30 minutes, ask them to drop you at La chula taqueria in la Punta and you'll be 1 minute walk to the location.
Public transport and share taxi cost 15 pesos, a private taxi cost around 100 pesos.

If you like to explore the other beautiful beaches nearby like Zicatela, Puerto Angelito, Manzanillo, Carrizalillo, Coral, Bacocho, they are all within a 30 minute max distance by car.
