This was a cute rental in a pristine location right on the waters edge. As other reviewers have said, it is small but was the perfect size for us as it was just 2 adults and a dog. The Kitchen was outfitted wi5h wveryrhung we needed for a week. We did have a munor hiccup the fkrst 2 days. We didnt arrive till after 6 on a Saturday and there was no hot water. A quick text to Alex and she was on it immediately. It ended up needing professional repairs and that coupdnt be arranged till Monday morning. This was obviouspy not the fault of the hosts and they were extremely apologetic and responsive. They were able to allow us to stay one extra night for free which more than made uo for the inconvenience. Two things I was surprised to find given the pricepoint was that there were no curtains on any of the windows, and also no face clothes in bathroom. We would definitely consider staying here again. It is extremely peaceful.

This is the perfect little cottage literally RIGHT on the water. A fun and peaceful place to relax and unwind. This cottage is clean and welcoming. There are plenty of toys for the kids, a great sanded area, a paddle board, floating mat for the water, firepit and beautiful views. You can fall asleep and wake up to the sound of the waves. Bring water shoes for the rocky beach, but with water shoes we all had tons of fun in the water! There was even a beach ramp with a clip to dock our jet ski right on the beach. The water was warm, the weather was gorgeous and we will be back!

Our stay at Trav and Alex's place right on the water was just lovely. It was just the right size for our family and in a good location, not too far from amenities when we needed them. Our teenaged boys loved playing Spike ball, taking the kayaks and SUP out for a paddle. We were really happy that there was a sand area. Trav provided us detailed information so my son could keep up his bike training. Thanks for helping us to create some nice memories after three long years of being out of the country.

Very relaxing spot on St. Joseph’s Island. Early sunrises, late sunsets and nearly 180 degree view of beautiful water. Hilton Beach and Richard’s Landing both have a few smaller places to eat-in and grab essentials. Sault Sainte Marie is larger for those stock up grocery trips. Highly recommend Redwood Fishing Charters if you’re looking for a guide who will help you catch the big fish. Great stay overall and the owners are super responsive.
