We aimed for a privare destination with beautiful views, far enough from crowded towns on the coast of Oaxaca. Casa Xida provided extraordinary views of a very special piece of nature…a lovely wide stretch of ocean, great whale watching, and spectacular sunrises. Close access to small, quiet La Boquilla beach which was literally an easy ten minute hike away was so appreciated. The drive to bigger surf Zipolite beach was easy, as was the shopping and varied food scene in Mazunte. Beds were so comfortable, cooking easy in the well-appointed kitchen. Bedrooms provided great privacy. Beli was totally responsive to our few calls. We were so satisfied with our stay at Casa Xida. Can’t wait to return. Millones de gracias, Reto! Buen año. Reto el dueño, nos dio buenos datos de todo, chofer, cocinera, lugares para ir a comer. Abel el encargado de la casa muy pendiente siempre de todo. La casa es muy linda, la vista preciosa, pero muy calurosa. El acceso a la casa debe ser mejorado, y deberian poner carteles de como llegar, ya que si no conoces el lugar no sabrias como encontrar la casa.

it was our final stop of our road trip over Mexico. this place is a perfect get away with magnificent views and locations nearby. Excellent spot to flew drone, watch Wales, turtles and fish by naked eye. Pool was deep enough and clean, outdoor showers with jungle and ocean views. large terraces, panoramic windows. we drove 175 from Oaxaca which gives spectacular views by itself. Lots of curves, but no doubts to take this road once again. don't drive at night as you won't see the beauty of mountains and driving such roads in darkness is generally dangerous.

Casa Xisa is an absolute dream. The pictures look spectacular, but don’t even do justice. The house, the architecture, the attention to detail and the most incredible view make this one of the most beautiful homes I ever stayed at. If you are in luck and you sleep in the upper master bedroom, the sunrise will kiss you awake and you truly wake up above the clouds. Two beautiful and lonely beaches are in walking distance and the small private pool make it complete. Reto and his team are super friendly, available, had great recommendations and even cooked for us one evening. I hope we make it back. Thank you Reto for everything!
