Sandy Toes is a great house !! 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms were perfect for our 3 night stay. The house was well stocked with pots/pans/bowls/utensils. Everything was very clean and ready to use. The walk to the public beach area was easy for us with 2 year old and 4 month old. There is a nice sandy beach -- Windmark Beach is on the bay and the water is not as clear as gulf beach water. From the house, Port St Joe is about 5 miles to the east and Mexico Beach is about 8-10 miles to the west. The pool at Windmark is nice and big. There is plenty of parking around the pool. Definitely bring regular towels and beach towels along with salt/pepper/cooking spices. Brittany was great to work with on our booking and during our stay!!!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at Sandy Toes. House was very clean when we arrived. Great open floor plan and fun beachy decor. Easy walk to beach and Windmark shops and restaurants. Wish at least one of the bedrooms had a king size bed, though. Overall a great stay for the value.

Overall this is a new construction home in a new housing development. The house boasts plenty of sleeping space and close proximity to the beach (an easy 2 minute walk). The drive into Port St. Joe is just a couple of minutes, there is no shopping within walking distance. The back patio is a view of a dried up retention pond (at least it was this time of year) and the back of homes just across the pond. If you don't care for zero lot lines, this isn't the place for you. Having an on-site washer and dryer was great. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of cooking pots and pans. There is not a stitch of spice or condiment supplies so be sure to load up. The closest grocery store is a newly renovated Piggly Wiggly, which actually offers sushi. I would strongly urge bringing your own beach towels, the only towels on premises are limited in number and size. The decor is kitch-coastal and the living room seating really only comfortably seats 4 (one couch and 2 club chairs). The dining room table seats 6. My 12 year old son is an avid fisherman and we got our bait at Bluewater Outfitters (next to the Piggly Wiggly) and the best fishing is off the jetty during tide change. Shrimp bait is the best, locals claim their spot so be respectful! We caught 2 large speckled trout and a legal Red.

We enjoyed staying at Sandy Toes! The host was responsive and the house was fabulous! There was so much room and everything was there from games to cookie sheets! We enjoyed the resort style pool but definitely had to drive to it. The beach was only a short walk and the house had a shower on the side which was very convenient. Windmark beach community was very welcoming and we enjoyed the quiet relaxing week!
