Our 2 bedroom cottage, offering a private plunge pool, outdoor shower, stunning views & 100% privacy. It's 60m2 (100m2 if 2 bedrooms in use), has a fully equipped kitchen (no oven), dining & lounge area, air-conditioned bedrooms with king size beds (twin beds on request) & bathrooms with large walk-in showers. The deck is 30m2, has a covered outside dining area, kettle BBQ & sun loungers. Also; high speed satellite internet & covered parking! Breakfast on request. Long stay (7d+); 10% off! We are mainly a self-catering lodge, but provide breakfast, a snack platter or BBQ/braai packs that are delivered to your cottage. Meals need to be ordered at least 3 days before arrival please. The same goes for transfers/activities, which are subject to availability. Please see our Kruger Cliffs website for rates and more info. Our self-catering cottages are not serviced daily, but after 4 nights in case of longer stays. Guests are welcome to request clean towels for stays longer than 2 nights. Clean linen will be provided after 4 nights if requested. Bringing the kids? Our living room has a double-size sleeper couch for 2 kids up to 12 years old. Kids using the sleeper couch are charged at child rate. Children using the upstairs bedroom are charged at adult rate. We also have 2 baby travel cots at the lodge; available upon request and at first come first serve basis. Kids 0-2 stay free of charge.

Second time staying here, still beautiful. We previously stayed in the Sunbird cottage and decided to try Turaco this time around. Turaco is bigger and has an amazing viewing experience through the window in the living room but Sunbird is definitely the mountain views winner. Mira and Jochen are super hosts indeed.
Het verblijf van 3 weken in Kruger Cliffs was fantastisch. De host’s waren zeer vriendelijk, goed en zijn echte hospitality professionals. We hebben genoten van de fantastische ligging aan de voet van de noordelijke Drakensberg op een half uur rijden van het Kruger park (Orpen gate) een half uur rijden van de Blyde river canyon, 25 minuten vanaf Hoedspruit en 5 minuten vanaf Kampersrus. Ondanks dat alles in de buurt is geniet je van een fantastisch geoutilleerd, mooi en uiterst privé gelegen rustige accommodatie met eigen zwembad. Voor ons is dit een adres waar we zeker terugkomen. Enkele aanraders zijn een bezoek aan Mariepskop, de hoogste berg in de buurt met fantastisch uitzicht over de Lowveld en Blyde river canyon. Een helikoptervlucht door de canyon of een boottocht op de Blyde rivier. Genoeg te beleven hier.
Very private with stunning views
Mira’s place is located in a beautiful bush land, you can see the mountains and also occasionally antelopes cruising by. Beautiful and peaceful place!
The definition of peace and tranquility! Privacy guaranteed! Place was absolutely amazing: Beautiful views, animals roaming around, and all the amenities you could need. We could also get spa treatments done in our chalet. Loved everything about it!!! Thank you Mira and Juchen for sharing this space with us.
