We stayed a full week at Tina's place and she kindly welcomed us and gave us a tour of the place. There's was plenty of space for our toddler to play around and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Very peaceful town. There's an organic store at 3min walk and a microbrewery Fogtown at 5min walking distance. We stayed in Ellsworth with the goal of going to Acadia every day, which we did. Early September, there was no traffic to get there morning or afternoon. Ellsworth has less attractions than Bar Harbor but the prices are also much lower so it'sa good trade-off. Overall, Tina is very available to answer any question and we would probably stay there again if we go back to this region of Maine.

Tina’s place was great! It’s in such a perfect location. We had a lot fun walking to the cute restaurants and shops that were nearby. Tina was great with communication all the way through. She had a ton of pamphlets highlighting the fun adventures that were close by. The house was well equipped and clean. We felt very safe and at home.

Tina reached out to make sure everything was ok and then again right before we left. She felt very available if we needed anything. We had the space we needed for a family of 4.

It was our first visit to the area. Ellsworth is a good central location for Acadia, Schoodick pennisula, etc. Tina's place is spacious & clean. Easy to find and enter. I am older, with arthritis that limits my ability, but it was fine-only a couple of steps into the apartment. The shower might be a little difficult if you can't step into a tub. There's street noise and we could hear the guest upstairs walking around, but neither were disruptive or excessive. The kitchen is quite nice, clean with newer appliances & very well equipped-much better than the average Air BnB I have stayed in. We did not cook-only made coffee-but if we had I would have had everything I needed. The living room furniture could be more comfortable--it wasn't the sort of place you'd want to lounge around in all day. But that's not why we there! There's so much to see in the area that you will want to be out and about seeing the beautiful surroundings.

Tina is a wonderfully responsive host, and always went above and beyond to fulfill our every need (and we were with her for half a year)! Her home has the quaint character and charm of an old New England house, is located in a beautifully walkable area of the original downtown Ellsworth, and is a convenient drive to many desirable tourist locations. I highly recommend this listing.
