This place, in the heart of the White Mountains, is a great location to discover the area of Omalos and the beaches of Sougia and Paleochora. The house is very cosy and comfortable with all the facilities that you need. The view from the upper terras is the best! You can taste the real good Greek food in the restaurant across the road. Try the pancakes for breakfast :-) We will come back for sure!

This place was gorgeous, it was a little smaller than I had pictured but plenty of room for 5 people. We loved the balcony and pool, we played uno and had a few beers. Upon arrival, we hadn’t realized that the house was so far away from a grocery store, and we asked the host who owns a restaurant across the street what we could get for food, and she in the middle of closing the restaurant, made us 5 meals so we didn’t go hungry. The restaurant is gorgeous and local. The airbnb is 40 minutes up a mountain, so lots of windy roads, you will need a car. It’s very private! We had an amazing time on this island!

This is a wonderful apartment in a boutique hotel style accommodation, with comfortable beds, a nice pool, and an amazing view. We loved our stay here, and would absolutely recommend it if you are interested in this part of the island!

Un bel appartement dans un petit complexe type « hotel ». L’espace de vie est assez petit mais fonctionnel. La literie est très confortable. Les chambres sont nettoyés tout les jours, le linge et les affaires rangés et pliés, royal! On apprécie l’accès à une splendide terrasse et une vue magnifique sur les montagnes. +Petit accès extérieur et piscine privative. Un hébergement idéal pour passer quelques nuits et découvrir les alentours (Sougia notamment) Le restaurant juste devant est génial: produits et plats traditionnels et bonne ambiance. (Philémo va me manquer)

Das Haus und die Taverne sind fantastisch. Effie war eine tolle Gastgeberin. Die Einrichtung ist modern und sehr gemütlich. Man sieht, dass Effie sich Gedanken gemacht hat, was man braucht, um sich wohlzufühlen. Für sechs Personen (2 Erwachsene, 4 Kinder) ist es eigentlich etwas zu klein, aber das hat unseren positiven Eindruck nicht geschmälert und wir waren trotzdem sehr gerne dort. Es war sehr sauber und gepflegt. Das Essen in der Taverne war ausgezeichnet. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Das Objekt hat eine gute Lage für Ausflüge nach Sougia und Paleochora. Absolute Empfehlung!
