Compared to the local prices and 1000 of houseboats next to this I think we overpaid in airbnb but still it was good for overnight stay. There was issue with power but we managed it. Owner were helpful in giving us warm water and breakfast also when requested.

The boathouse is fantastic. The place are as per description provided. The facilities are well-maintained. The host, Ashiq & his family are very warm, welcoming & helpful. Recommended stay!

Exceptional hospitality, really welcoming family and delicious home made food at very reasonable prices. We felt part of the family immediately. lots of good advice on things to see and do as well as insights into the local culture and history. totally recommended.

the host family is really friendly caring and helping. If you are comming to srinagar and want to stay in house boat then prefer this place. You will feel at home.
