We had a great stay at this wonderful home close to the ocean and the mouth of the Kenai River that was the perfect home base for us for the month of July as we explored south central Alaska and a bit of the interior. The house is beautifully done inside with a lovely amount of light, plenty of space for our family of 3 (growing to 5 when my parents joined us), comfortable well-sized beds, well designed bathrooms, and a large well appointed kitchen. We also loved the easy access in the peaceful neighborhood to run and walk, and the outside space around the house to play soccer with our 7 year and feed the chickens and collect their eggs. Carma and her family were amazing hosts and made check in and out a breeze, helped us get mail, and suggested wonderful local spots and events. Highly recommend!
Hosts are excellent! They were so helpful and left so many nice gifts. House is really big with a huge kitchen! The backyard view is amazing. Location is perfect especially if you plan to explore the whole peninsula.
Carma’s house was more than awesome and she is definitely a great host! You cannot go wrong booking this house!!! Dr. Oakley and her family loved staying there while working in the Kenai area.
Our first stay in Kenai and it could not have been more lovely. Carma made every nook and cranny feel like home! Her home was spotless, warm and cozy and held our family as if it were our own. Sitting on the beautiful (very large) deck and just enjoying each other and the view was one of our favorite things to do- from the fire, to game playing to watching a moose slowly meander thru the green belt and the constant flow of eagles overhead - wow! JUST WOW!! Every morning we collected fresh eggs from the “ladies” in the hen house and we all looked so forward to it- honestly, we’re really going to miss so much about this stay. It’s taken a gentle hold of us and will be with us forever! Thank you!!

I was born and raised on Kodiak Island, from the age of 13 I helped my mother operate her bed and breakfast. It has always been a dream of mine to have my own bed abd breakfast. After purchasing our dream home in Alaska's playground my dream became a reality! Our family of four has loved sharing our home with travelers from near and far. My family enjoys hiking, biking, fishing and camping. That is why Kenai is the perfect home for us. We enjoy living in our dream home, school, traveling out of state and our “day jobs” all winter: we cherish our summers when we are free to camp, explore our great state and and host guests making their Alaskan dreams come true all summer long! We invite you to share and see what we love about our home, our small eco farm and our community!
