We stayed in the apartment for a week. We liked the bathrooms with nice showers and well equipped and that it was only a short walk to different train stations and different lines. Check in and communication prior to stay were easy. Unfortunately our experience was rather disappointing than pleasing. An uncomfortable smell welcomes you in the staircase, luckily disappears once in the apartment. The kitchen is awfully equipped; if you‘re not careful you might get hit by one of the unstable shelves. The apartment needs renovation & looks mixed & cobbled together; the pics are different to what we found as some of the furniture got replaced by less pretty arrangements. The hallway staircase is stuffed with things, you can’t tell if it’s trash or overflow from the basement. Jerry came into the apartment in our absence & replaced the only closet in one of the rooms, including moving personal belongings, unfortunately without our permission and then only said it was "miscommunication".

This was a great place to stay for my group of five. It was very spacious, extremely so for a space in New York so close to the city. It was only a 15 minute commute to grand central and there were several metro stations close by that were very accessible. There were also bars and places to grab breakfast nearby for days we did not want to stay out too far from where we were staying. It had all the amenities that were listed and Jerry was very responsive to any additional questions we had during our stay. We highly recommend this location!

Family of four - one week. Great location to visit manhattan. Subway stop incredible - straight to Grand Central and Times Square and links to the rest of Manhattan. Apartment photographs well but in reality beds are bare minimum. Two of three bedsteads are very basic metal frame with no headboards and extremely wobbly and squeaky, however mattresses are great. Curtains are very basic. There is no prep area in the kitchen (as detailed), crockery is extremely minimal with one cereal/soup bowl. No real cooking utensils and no sharp knives. Upper shelves in cupboards haven’t been cleaned in a long time. Washing machine isn’t in the apartment - it’s in the shared lobby and is to pay for. No door entry buzzer - making food deliveries tricky. Bath plug not available - description details two working baths. And like so many places in a big city there were mice in the apartment so we had to keep all food in crockery cupboards as there wasn’t really any space for food storage elsewhere.

Loved the view 10 min away from here. The surroundings don't feel the most safe, but as a group, we just kept everything locked always and didn't spend much time in the area anyway, so nothing too bad.

Great place, close to a few subway lines, very close to some great Korean, Chinese, and Taiwanese food!
