The interior of the house was clean. The bath towels were super soft and not stained. The TV's were all easy to use. The wii in the kids room was perfect for our four boys. The kitchen generally had all you needed. The exterior of the home needs some TLC. The yard was over grown, leaves not picked up, in general looks a little tired. Also in general all the pictures make the place look better/newer than it is in person. The location is convenient to both South Haven and Saugatuck. Communication with Mill Pond was wonderful! There was a smell in the laundry room (which is the door you walk in off the driveway - really the "front door"). When shared with Mill Pond Realty we were told there was a lot of minerals in the water and was likely the smell. Not familiar with this smell so we kept the candle burning the entire time we were at the house. The creek and woods provided a lot of fun and exploring for our boys. We were a party of 8 and the house provided plenty of room for us. Parking was a little tight with three vehicle's but we made it work. The "beach" area in the neighborhood was fun, somewhat convenient and private. You can easily drive to it, unlock the gate, drive down and park right next to the lake. I would have given this a higher rating if the outdoors was maintained/old rug removed and there wasn't the smell. The area was nice and quiet.

Perfect place for my birthday weekend! The house was spacious for the 6 of us (all adults), plus a pup. The beds were comfy and the shower/water pressure in the master bathroom was great! Nice thick towels as well. The backyard is very relaxing and quiet. We enjoyed sitting around the fire. Check in/out was simple and quick. Good communication with the host, Damon even allowed us to have an on-site check in with advance notice. We were barely able to squeeze 4 cars in the driveway. I would probably recommend driving to the beach access (only .6 miles away, but it’s a bit hilly). It was fun exploring and climbing over the cement blocks and seeing what’s been washed up on shore, but if you have kids and want to enjoy a beach/swim/boat - check out a public beach instead. Downtown South Haven and Saugatuck are about a 15-20 minute drive.. plenty of restaurants, bars, and live music. Overall, this is a beautiful home and I would recommend staying here.

This property is truly stunning! It is a quiet area in the middle of the woods, just be aware of the falling acorns! Check in and check out is super easy and convenient for the guests. They have a 24 hour customer service (you can text or call) in case you have questions or need assistance - but you won’t need it!!

We had a great stay at Unwinding Creek, everything was as described and the home was very spacious for a group of 4. Most of everything we needed was provided (we had to buy our own wood, coffee, shampoo) and the location is a quick drive to South Haven and Saugatuck. The neighborhood is lovely with lake access. We did find the check-in instructions a bit inconvenient (driving to Saugatuck at 4PM to the management office, we were stuck in traffic for 30 minutes getting back to the actual house), but outside of that an overall great stay.
