The renovations on this older house are nice and the kitchen, bedrooms and bathrooms well done, but it didn’t meet our expectations for the ratings it had been given.(4.6) Our first impression wasn’t good as we walked in looking at older furniture than was in the original photos and holes in the wall. One of the chairs had stains on it and two other chair backs fell off when we sat in them. We noticed a big hole in a hallway had been covered with a picture and also in the ceiling in that hallway the attic access cover was loose and broken. The handle on the dryer was off and was replaced with a piece of rope. The handle on the refrigerator was also missing. The kitchen was left pretty dirty and the stove was still greasy. Towels were washed and left in the washer and had mildewed. We texted the hosts and they responded quickly and brought a new set of towels and sheets that evening. The house had plenty of room for 9 of us to stay but it wasn’t worth the money we spent to stay there.
