We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage, which felt like stepping into a fairy tale due to its quaint and cozy design reminiscent of a hobbit house. The location is excellent, nestled in a delightful town and relatively close to local attractions—a real plus when traveling with a carsick baby. I've rated our stay 4 out of 5 stars. To achieve a perfect score, a few improvements could be made: - The bed was quite firm as there was no mattress topper and only one pillow provided per person. I usually need three pillows, so more pillows would enhance comfort. - We were not provided with sheets for the baby cot, which posed a challenge. We managed with a blanket we brought along. For future guests: it might be wise to pack extra sheets and pillows. - I could not locate a hairdryer, which was a minor inconvenience. Despite these issues, I would happily return for another week or weekend, now that I know what to bring along, including potentially a coffee maker to round out

We absolutely loved this place. The cottage is idyllic, completely what you would expect of an English Cotwold thatched cottage. The town is lovely and quiet with all the amenities nearby you could want. Village store well stocked, local pub with great food and both with 10 minutes walking. It’s truly a hidden gem compared to all of the super crowded well known cotswold towns. They have a very cool brewery which is the reason we booked as my husband brews beer. The building is so unique. I cant say enough good things about this place. The cottage was well outfitted and comfortable, bathroom very modern. if you need to stay indoors as we did when it was cold and raining. I was concerned coming from Texas we might be cold but it was warm and cozy, you choose the temp. There is a footpath literally nextdoor that takes you to stunning views. Finally the host Steve was there promptly and patient to answer any questions we had, he lives around the corner which is helpful. Loved it!

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend away and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The cottage itself is beautiful (just be mindful of the low door frames, however there are signs above the doors) and very clean. Has everything you need. Check in was straight forward and communication was great. Location was perfect - there's a few pubs and shops in walking distance and plenty of places to visit nearby in the car. Would highly recommend 😊
