Beautiful home in a beautiful, peaceful location. We loved the outdoor spaces and had every amenity for cooking and comfort. The host was very accommodating. We would highly recommend this home for a family getaway!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay! The host was fantastic and incredibly accommodating. The surroundings were beautiful, and the space itself was spacious and impeccably clean. Communication with the host was easy, and they were responsive to all our needs. Overall, we had a fantastic time and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great experience.

We had a great stay at Alex’s place. In town for a wedding and I love having my whole family under one roof rather than separate hotel rooms. Dinner & breakfasts together, coffee with a view, daily visits from deer & turkeys and a short 15 minute drive to the public lake access. The house is well stocked to a big group.

House definitely needs some remodeling! Main level and basement bathroom were pretty old! Carpet is also very old! The twin beds that was advertised in addition to a the king bed were actually just one role in bed which the frame wasn’t stable, and the other ones were only folding foam mattress. The one in our room was missing fitted sheet and only flat sheet that was folded with mattress, so I am not even sure it was washed! We couldn’t find extra sheet! Not enough towels and sheets, the blankets left for the mattresses were old and so randomly different color! House has good bones, but definitely needs updating. Some more white sheets, white towels, and newer extra blankets and pillow would be helpful. No Shampoo in upstairs or basement shower. The AC was off up on our arrival despite having nest! First night was unbearable!

Great space, great communication, and overall good experience. We enjoyed the nearby lake and Alex was very helpful/prepared during our stay.
