We stayed for 10wks from late-Feb to early-May. Stephanie is an amazing host. She was responsive and accommodating whenever we needed her. That's all I can ask for. About the place...Absolutely beautiful, charming house. Not like those sterile airbnbs without any soul. This one has been lived in and taken care of with love. All the cooking and eating and family time we spent in the sunroom+kitchen, surrounded by windows and skylights, those are memories that will stay with us for years. The house holds so many stories like ours, all you have to do is take a look around to get a sense of it. It is magical when its covered in 5" of snow, and equally beautiful when the trees bloom. You are surrounded by nature and wildlife (yes, bears included), yet you don't feel isolated. We didn't know what the expect going into our stay in Hemlock Farms, and spent the most pleasant 10wks, and left having bonded with the place beyond what we expected. When you go, make sure to get off the highways and get lost in the forest drives as you explore surrounding towns like Milford or Narrowsburg or Honesdale. You will feel thankful you took the longer route as you pass waterfalls and rivers and old bridges. We look forward to be back to Hemlock Farms one day.
