Beautiful cottage and garden set in the middle of countryside.Very peaceful,just what we were expecting.Carole is a wonderful host!
We don't often write reviews but felt compelled to do so on this occasion. Approach roads to the property are really treacherous, our 4x4 only just managing; it almost stops you from going out again. Once in the property, one bed looked as though it had not been made, with stained flat sheets and pillowcases. We asked about the EV charger and the owner said we can use it but there was a charge! This was not on the advert. We put our car on charge overnight and woke up to find no additional charge on the vehicle. Spoke to the owner who couldn't get it working. This meant going to a Lidl 7 miles away in Chard to charge every day! On the penultimate day, we heard some new people arrive in the driveway for their stay. Suddenly we heard lots of noise above us; it appeared we did not have the "entire cottage" as advertised but only the ground floor. The noises were quite disruptive and annoying, hearing their dog running up and down all day. Knowing all this we would have chosen elsewhere.
Such a beautiful cottage! We had the most amazing stay here. Carol is second to none, an amazingly helpful and lovely host, couldn’t ask for more!
