We had a wonderful stay for four weeks. Just as advertised. Great value!!! Romain was ALWAYS available by text for any of our questions. They were extremely flexible and helpful with our fluid scheduling needs.
This is our third stay in villefranche hosted by Romain. He is always helpful, friendly, responsive and flexible wherever possible particularly with leaving luggage in a safe space. Thanks for a great stay!

Romain, is lovely and we appreciated his help finding us another place to stay. But he is a bit unrealistic in his explanations and excuses when issues arise. I was particularly taken back by his concern for 5-star review so he could maintain his 'superhost status' across the 20 properties he manages. Issues we encountered in this small apartment included: 1. Dishwasher doesn't work properly. A cycle takes from morning until evening and dishes end up dirty and/or soapy 2. Shower knob stopped working several days into the stay. After Romain fixed it, the second knob stopped working 3. There is no place to eat inside! 4. the garden is totally unkept and overgrown. Regardless of what Romain says, this is a fact and based on other reviews seems to be a recurring issue 5. RATS!!! The garden is infested with rats, making it non-functional. It has nothing to do with being close to the sea and is a result of the unkept & overgrown garden. My recommendation: Find somewhere else to stay!
Beautiful architecture and design. Close to beach and restaurants. Really easy access to train station giving good access to the whole Cote D’Azur.
