The location of this home was incredible, so many amazing restaurants, cafes, bars and local shops, and THE BEST pub across the road. Also an 8 min uber to melbourne central. The home itself was really nice, modern, clean, airy, bathrooms were excellent and card games on hand, which we loved! Would note, there are 2 flights of significant stairs you have to take to reach the entry to the duplex, no lifts. Its not suitable if you have accessibility needs. It was a bit of a challenge with suitcases, and can be a little exhausting getting in and out daily. Otherwise, awesome place.

House is nice although unfortunately it wasn’t very clean. Rooms were dusty, dishes were dirty in cupboards and the floor wasn’t clean which was hard as we had a crawling infant. Check in requires you to walk to a Chemist 10 mins away to collect and return keys and this can only be done during opening hours. Most frustrating this about this property is they will only give you one set of keys. Our group of 6 adults and 1 baby really struggled with this. We had asked in advance for more keys and even offered to pay and MadeComfy said it just wasn’t an option. Communication with MadeConfy was pretty poor. They have a separate website to contact them (they were very unresponsive to messages via Airbnb) and each time you talk to someone on the chat they commit to getting back to you but never do. When you follow up there is no record of your previous discussions. Aircon isn’t effective for end bedrooms. Overall nice house in great area but I wouldn’t rush back for reasons above.

The rental management told us we can only check in during specific hours 3 days before arrival. So we had to stay at a nearby hotel because checkin was not possible and obviously we couldn’t change our flights from Germany. They communicated very badly, didn’t respond to specific requests and couldn’t hand out a second key as we were three persons each having their own schedule. Plus, cuttlery and plates were dirty - disgusting! Our holiday was ruined!

Absolutely fantastic house, highly recommend. We had a great stay at the place and super local to the CBD and other locations around Melbourne. The made comfy team are always responsive and very accommodating allowing us to stay a few extra hours after check in due to some late flights. Highly recommend, the place is actually super legit with two balconies, three bathrooms and plenty of space for a group of friends like us
