The cabin is exactly as described! Peaceful, secluded, but full of the amenities anyone would ever need. Us, along with our two dogs, loved taking short walks by the river. The trails around the cabin were well maintained. The property is situated fairly close to town, which was very nice considering we grabbed some groceries and made most of our meals right at the cabin. The solar powered electricity, gas stove, grill, and mini fridge made us feel right at home and allowed us to really experience all of the creature comforts while being able to unwind. This is a new favorite of ours and we plan on coming back!

We enjoyed our stay at the Riverwood Hideaway. It was our first time traveling with our dog who is not well socialized, and we weren't sure if he would bark all night in an unfamiliar place. We wanted a secluded place where his barking wouldn't bother anyone if he did bark, and this was the perfect spot. It is private, secluded and very peaceful. The dog did not bark at all. The space looks just like the photos. Cabin was cozy and comfortable. Plenty of room to roam outside. Hosts were responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return again soon when it is warm enough to sit and enjoy the river that runs through the property.

I immediately understood why so many people return to this little cabin. We started talking about the next trip within hours of stepping through the door.

We appreciated an “off the grid “experience in the woods that was super comfortable and beautiful and peaceful. We loved all the windows and tasteful interior. We all likely be back!
