Come enjoy our custom handcrafted Pine Log lodge! The entryway opens to a spacious living room boasting a newly added indoor/outdoor fireplace. There’s ample seating at the log dining table and a fully equipped kitchen. There’s an en-suite bedroom on the main floor with a jacuzzi and two large en-suite bedrooms on the second floor, one also has a jacuzzi. Booking 7-10 guests includes the private guest loft with 2nd kitchen, laundry & deck. Please note children under 13 or pets are not allowed. The Lodge is simply stunning, built with over 80 hand-hewn, locally sourced Pines and a matching garage to boot! Our 40 acres is a small sample of the majestic northern woods. We have a small pond with a fire pit to enjoy the night sky and roast marshmallows. You can also see more info on the property at superiorgatewaylodge . com The new guest loft is also available and can accommodate up to 4 guests so if you book for 7-10 guests, 6 will stay in the lodge and 1-4 in the loft just 100 ft away. You will also have access to new washer/dryer for your stay. Self-serve continental breakfast will be available in the main lodge. For winter guests we’re are 1 mile from the CJ Ramstad/North Shore State Trail entrance so bring your trailer and snowmobile right from the lodge - weather permitting! We have lots of future plans for walking trails along an existing 1/2 mile access road to the back acreage so check back soon.

this cabin felt like it was, in itself, a destination. we’d originally booked this trip for snowmobiling, but the warm winter left us without snow. but despite that, the trip felt very special simply because the lodge itself is so comfortable and unique. even without our planned activities it felt like a great getaway. everything from the delicious breakfast food provided, the welcoming music that was already turned on for us when we got there, the cozy fireplace on a drizzly day, a well stocked kitchen that made cooking just like at home and the all around comfort of all the spaces in the house made for a very lovely extended weekend stay. We’d definitely return!
I loved staying at Beth’s place with all my friends for my bachelorette getaway weekend. The place was exactly what I wanted and accommodated all of us perfectly. The breakfast was an amazing added bonus. We all slept sooo peacefully and the beds and linens were pristine. There was lots of added amenities to use that were really high quality and made the place feel like home- I didn’t want to leave. She let us do a later check out on Sunday (late notice!) and was easy to communicate with. Would highly highly recommend and definitely would stay again if I’m in the area! This has been for sure the #1 airbnb I’ve stayed at so far! Thanks for having us and for a making the weekend perfect!

Absolutely amazing! Beth and Jeff truly go above and beyond in every single aspect. From booking and pre-communication, to extremely thoughtful ammenities and exceptional service every single moment that we were there. We rented their gorgeous cabin in the woods for my 40th Birthday Bash, there were 8 of us ladies and each one of us were delighted in every way. The intricate, thoughtful hospitality in each room, the breakfast options were unbelievably delicious....a huge favorite was the bagles & lox, variety of chicken sausage and waffles.....so delicious! AND Jeff even built us a fire each night and turned on the beautiful tree lights in the evening. The local dining is awesome, we especially loved The Tipsy Mosquito, Harbor Pub, and Black Woods....all so unique and fun! This vacation was truly one for the books. We made memories that will last a lifetime and we sincerely thank Beth and Jeff for making this happen for us. Highly highly recommend! We cant wait to come back!
The home was gorgeous. There was wood chopped and left for the fire place. Beth, left all kinds of breakfast goodies including overnight oats, eggs, bacon, waffle mix, juices etc. In all are Airbnb stays we have never been left goodies. The kitchen was well stocked with basic condiments too. Are family had a wonderful time, and would highly recommend this beautiful retreat outside of Two Harbors

We are 8 miles West of Two Harbors on a dead end road and the temperature can differ as much as 10-15 degrees warmer off the lake. There can be fog in Two Harbors and sun at the lodge as our elevation rises quickly even 250 ft from one end of our 40 acres to the other.
Although you’ll need a vehicle to get here, once here you’ll want a mountain bike, hiking boots and snowshoes!

My husband and I recently moved to the North Shore from Colorado and we're thrilled to be back in Minnesota where we both grew up! Our kids are grown and so we're starting a new adventure. I've been interested find another location to expand on our first AirBnB in Florida. We are excited to relaunch the Superior Gateway Lodge on AirBnb.
