Whilst appreciating this is a heritage listed property, the gardens appear neglected. It was a comfortable stay, however was listed as self contained which by definition is a home away from home but didn’t have basic cooking functionality other than tea and toast making. A microwave and bowls would make this a more practical self contained accomodation. Unfortunately we were there on a long weekend and most restaurants that were recommended were closed.

The room we stayed in was lovely, exactly as described and had everything we needed. Nigel was very quick to respond to messages. We had a great time and would definitely stay again or recommend to others!

Gorgeous gardens! Loved having dinner with cockatoos, fantails etc and waking up to paddymelons outside our door. Really appreciate the extra effort in finding a fan! Was so hot and made our stay perfect!
