We had a lovely stay - it was the perfect place for 2 to stay for a long weekend to access the mountains and in such beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was very well equipped and had everywhere we needed. Paula and Tom were very responsive and gave us detailed instructions about the area, amenities and how to find the lodge. Thank you!

I and a friend spent four nights in Paula and Tom’s lovely riverside cottage. On arrival we were greeted by Tom and shown the accommodation which, with two double rooms, was perfect for our needs. It is in a good location for exploring Loch Ness by car. We also made a slightly longer trip to do the Jacobite steam train from Fort William. There are three cottages on the site along with Paula and Tom’s house but they are very well spaced so we had privacy, peace and quiet and were able to enjoy the wonderful location in private. The site is safe and secure. We really didn’t want to leave at the end of our stay and would return again without hesitation.

A lovely place to stay right by the river and within a close drive of lots of great places to visit. If you’re planning to visit Loch Ness you can’t go wrong staying here.

A lot of people have a dream of owning a small cottage in the mountains with a river flowing nearby. Here you can live that dream for a few days. The place is as beautiful as it looks in the images. The amenities are well explained and accurate in the listing description. Tom and Paula are exceptional hosts who were always responsive and helpful during our stay. A great location to explore areas around Loch Ness, with places like Isle of Skye and Glencoe reachable within 1-2 hour drive. Groceries and fuel available within 5-10 mins drive. Just bring a mosquito spray/cream for your visit as we have Highland Midges in plenty, with accommodation being in middle of nature. Fully recommended for anyone planning to visit the area.
