We stayed at the Misty River retreat, and it was awesome! Mathew and his wife were great hosts. They provided clear instructions and a very unique Airbnb. It was the perfect getaway, relaxing and enjoyable.

We can not say enough positive things about our stay. Yurt was so clean and linens were fresh and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless. Hot water. Hot tub was beautiful being on the side of a mountain looking at the river below. UTV was an added bonus to have some fun going around the property. Excellent getaway.

We had an amazing time during our stay- the view from the tent was beautiful and all of the amenities made it very easy and enjoyable. Our hosts were very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed before and during our stay. Would absolutely recommend this for a romantic weekend getaway! We loved it!

My husband and I stayed 2 nights here. It was beautiful. It was rainy and windy our first night but we stayed warm with the fire and blankets. We did get to walk to the river in the morning. If it was less windy and we hadn't got so much rain we would have went fishing. It was still a nice little walk regardless. Our second night there was amazing. The stars from the porch were so bright. We also loved the sound of the river. Matthew was a very nice host. Even checked in on us to make sure everything was good. We hope to come back this summer. I highly recommend this place if you need some relaxation.

My wife and I needed a getaway from the city and stumbled upon Matt and Loretta’s glamping retreat and decided to give it a try. We had a wonderful time. The property is very private, and the UTV drive in is pretty enjoyable. The essentials are already at the campsite. Beautiful river view, rolling hills, and tons of nature. You really only need your clothing, some basic campsite cleaning stuff, and food/drinks. Some quick tips: Definitely download some offline Maps of the area to make finding the local hikes or other spots easier and make sure someone knows how to build a fire in a wood stove if you’re going to be there on cooler nights. The wood stove in the tent works really well, I recommend leaving the tent canvas open while building the fire to air the smoke out. Matt and Loretta are very responsive and brought out a new battery for some of the solar lights right away. We would definitely stay here again when we need to get off the grid. Thanks again!
