Great weekend with couple friends. Great location and lovely lodge. A well stocked kitchen was a definite bonus. Would definitely visit again.

What a fabulous little lodge! Lovely views over Isis lake with lots of ducks and geese, and a well-maintained hot tub too! Janice was very thorough with her help and instructions for the site/lodge. The lodge itself was absolutely spotlessly clean and very comfortable, exceptionally well equipped with a large TV. We enjoyed breakfast on the deck in the morning sunshine with nothing but the sound of birdsong. Surroundings - We used the useful pool table/table football hut very nearby which is great for teenagers/young adults. There is a great pizza takeout place across the road on the De Vere hotel site (10 min walk), and from there you can walk along the old canal to Cerney Wick (1.5 miles). We also walked to South Cerney via the back security gate to the site which is a minutes walk away to the right of the children's playground where there are a few pubs, the Eliot Arms being the nicest right next to the river. My 9 year old got stuck in the bathroom, she had to climb out the window after the door lock broke from the inside. Only host I experienced who expected us to unload clean items from dishwasher before exiting, usually this is all inclusive of the cleaning fee. Decking furniture and hot tub lid and steps had some patches of green moss that need to be jet washed off. The house opposite next to the lake has extended to a larger decking (work ongoing) view not so great looking out to the lake compared to other properties on ISIS lake. My car windscreen was cracked in 3 places overnight during our stay, do not park facing the ball games area/park. No cameras in view but was reported to security.

A must if you are looking for a calm, relax gateway from the city. It was a pleasant stay. Janice is very responsive and gives clear instructions. The place was clean and the jacuzzi was good
