Fun place to stay. Cabin was spacious and well appointed. Great location for exploring the area.

Sharon is so nice & extremely helpful. The cabin had everything we needed and was very clean. We got in late and she made sure the lights were left on so we knew where we were going. You are right on the lake, which is great and super beautiful. It wasn’t too busy so we got to spend lots of time on the dock and not feel like we were crowded. A couple things to note, there is a main road located right behind the cabins. So if you’re looking for silence this probably isn’t the best fit. You can hear traffic as back ground noise all hours of day and night. No fans in cabins so when it’s hot it’s hot. They had to switch out propane bbqs for two communal charcoal bbqs (bit of a pain to cook on) each cabin no longer has their own fire pit. They have a communal fire pit. We didn’t have an issue using it. The ice cream shop was unfortunately closed. And it’s the only one in town. Overall, lovely stay and it wasn’t busy so the communal atmosphere was fine.

I would definitely recommend a stay here! The location is absolutely beautiful with so many perfect photo spots. The lake is gorgeous and water is perfect especially with the sand so its nice on the feet. My son enjoyed swimming. The campfire was great just bring bug repellent! I loved the icecream shop and so did my son, gives it a fun camping feel. There is no AC in the cabins and it does get very warm with the summer heat so i highly suggest opening windows at night time and bringing a couple good fans. There is one fan in the cabin but definitely need at least one or 2 more for the other spaces. The resort is located right off the highway so expect loud noise from the transport trucks at nighttime , it didnt bother me much but doesnt hurt to play background noise at night or get ear plugs for sleep if youre a light sleeper. There is fencing right behind the cabins except more open with the first cabin i believe. Definitely make sure you bring a strong tie up for dogs and keep an eye on them the entire time due to the highway I would not suggest to let your dog loose unless by the water and extremely well trained to stay by your side. Spider spray is another thought if you hate spiders and have anxiety about them! I didnt see any inside luckily but lots were outside the windows at night time. Fridge kept all food and drinks very cold and microwave works great. Bathroom was very clean and beds were very comfortable. Owner is very kind and helpful, she was very welcoming. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wish we had more time. We will definitely be back sometime in the future!
