The neighborhood is very quite.
This is a amazing spot all year round.
In the winter there are many activities to do, from cross country ski, snowshoeing, snowmobiling on the frozen lakes or trails and many other. Amazing season for photographers, the beauty is phenomenal, like a post card.
The Summer is exciting! The beautiful sandy beaches and shallow water, great for kids. This season is the most busy, people enjoying the sun, the water, swimming, boating, jet skiing, fishing, biking, hiking or just relaxing at the Cottage or Barbecuing and at night by the fire pit or just observing the stars.
In the Fall it is magnificent. The many colours of the leafs of the trees. Awenda Provincial Park is a must to visit by this time of the year. The crop farms are also beautiful.
If you looking for restaurants, theaters or other night time hot spots, you need to drive about 12 minutes to Penetanguishene or 15 minutes to Midland
The Township of Tiny’s public boat launch is located at Jackson Park, 1 Marina Road. It is free to use boat launch in the area.
The Township of Tiny has 70 km of shoreline. In the Township's Official Plan, a total of five parks have been recognized as large water township parks. These large water parks are Woodland Beach, Bluewater Beach, Jackson Park, Balm Beach and Lafontaine Beach Park.

No public transportation. There is a lovely store "Tiny Treats European Deli" ( closed during a winter) few walking minutes from our place, located on the main Rd Lafontaine and as well a Deli place, LCBO and very nice bakery 5 minutes driving also on the Lafontaine Rd.
The closest beach is 3-4 minutes walk.
To Lafontaine beach is 6 min to walk.
To Awenda National Park and Penetanguishine: 15 minutes to drive
To Midland: 17 minutes to drive.
To Wasaga Beach: 35 Minutes
To Collingwood: 40 Minutes
To Blue Mountains: 50 Minutes
