This house was perfect for our family’s needs traveling to see the total solar eclipse in 4/2024! Peaceful and snug in the woods on the edge of Lake Placid. Enough comfortable beds and space for our large three generation family and great showers. We played games, enjoyed the lawn, the theatre room, and the fireplace. Would definitely recommend!

Our stay at Lake Placid was enjoyable overall! The host was accommodating, and the location was convenient. However, cleanliness could be improved. Some areas, like the bathroom and linens, needed more attention. With a bit more focus on cleanliness, this place would be perfect.

Beautiful accommodations with very responsive hosts. Would absolutely stay here again. Everyone in our group enjoyed their stay and raved about how nice it was.

There are so many “pros” to this cabin! The location = awesome & close to all the LP attractions! The layout for a large family = perfection! The game room amenities = super fun! We really enjoyed this house & are already considering booking for next winter again!

I took our family of 10 to this Lodge for Thanksgiving weekend. We had a wonderful time!! The fireplace and snow set the stage for a charming memory filled Thanksgiving!! A few updates would be helpful: The stove has 3 burners that work. The master bedroom shower goes on and off at will and has a rusty shower curtain rod. The house would benefit from a better cleaning company. I found waffles stuffed into the air hockey table and old pretzels in the theatre room. The kids shower leaks into the kitchen.
