My family and I were here for the 2024 eclipse and we had a great time. the location is a 10-15 min walk into town with well maintained sidewalks (despite the snow). The neighborhood was peaceful and the house was beautiful. We particularly enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, the BBQ and the lawn furniture. We had a great time overall!

A beautiful home in a great location. Walking distance to Lake Placid but away from the Main Street. The hosts were very accommodating and responsive. The best place to stay when visiting Lake Placid

Lovely home and very responsive to questions. location great for viewing Ironman racers. a shared swimming dock not used as dirty but close to public beach

This was the prefect place for our group and trip to LP-- centrally located on the other side of Mirror Lake from town, but walkable both to town and the public beach, as well as private lake access nearby through the realty co-- made for an excellent location overall-- cloes to golf, hiking, restaurants, lake placid boat rentals, etc. We liked the open floor plan on the main level, great for groups. And even though the front yard is adjacent to the rd, it still felt proivate enough to use alot, cookout, etc- because of the line of trees in the front. We would definitley rent here again.
