The cabins & rv park are owned & ran by a mother daughter team. They’re both so helpful & doing a killer job on these 2 businesses. They’ve thought of most things!:) I don’t usually like to visit the same place repeatedly bc I’d like to keep seeing new places, BUT we’ll definitely be back here. So much fun, only complaint is that we didn’t stay long enough to do all the fun stuff. I won’t make that mistake next year. Most important note: this is the most dog friendly place I’ve ever stayed. Most places have a lot of requirements that my giant dog & gsd puppy just don’t meet. I think our only requirement was to pay a small pet cleaning fee which is very reasonable. For those that crate their dogs @ night you might like to know- yes there’s plenty of floor space for their crates. There’s also boat parking and it’s very close to the cabins. There’s a Walmart close by if you forget anything…..like your dogs anxiety meds for example. There’s also an awesome BBQ restaurant super close.

We stayed in the A frame #1 with 1 queen bed and a twin in the loft. This glamping A frame had everything we could have needed for a two night stay. Everything was communicated in a timely and friendly manner! I truly enjoyed responding with Michaela! The beds were super comfortable along with the bed sheets. We were super impressed and will likely camp here again in the future! Michaela had even provided coffee from a local coffee shop in town which was a lovely touch. If you've never visited Morehead before I would highly suggest checking out The Fuzzy Duck right next to Moreheads campus.
