Oak Lodge stay was very enjoyable for our weekend stay. The setting is so peaceful and calming. The lodge has been built with all that's needed in side and out. The little touches like the welcome basket and the bits and pieces for the doggies accommodation is a very nice touch. The standard of the lodge is first class. Had a lovely weekend at the lodge . Beautiful part of the world and the lodge has everything you need. Rachael was a great host and offered an early check in and left a small hamper for us which was a nice surprise. Some great walks and pubs in the area and will definitely recommend. We had two dogs with us and a towel , crate and biscuits were left which we appreciated, however , the dogs do have to be kept on a lead so it does not disturb the people staying in the cabin next door which we didn’t know until we arrived . Overall , a lovely weekend spent in a lovely lodge and great area if you want to escape and enjoy some peace and quiet . Thank you

We had a lovely time at Swallowdale lodge. Beautiful surroundings and a really cosy but spacious place to stay. Friendly cows too!
