We had a fantastic stay at Swallowdale Lodges. The accommodation was very high quality and the location was fantastic, very peaceful. We loved watching the swallows fly through the veranda. We also enjoyed a great meal at the Knot Inn less than five minutes away.

Beautiful lodge in a truly stunning location. The views over the countryside were amazing! We had a great week staying here, you couldn’t get more peaceful. Host communication was faultless from start to finish. The Lodge had everything you need and was spotless, even a really thoughtful welcome hamper with all the essentials. 5* in every way. We will definitely be back again if we are visiting the area.

Gorgeous tranquil location, stunning views with peaceful quiet surroundings. Lovely walks nearby, plenty of pubs/cafes to choose from too. Clean, comfortable and well-equipped place to stay but we were very surprised at the lack of drinking water, bottled water provided but not enough and guests expected to buy their own.
