This home was great! The pictures don't do it justice. The location was perfect for a conference in Abingdon; only 5-10 minutes away from town, but it felt like its own little world. Doug was quick to respond to messages and very helpful. I plan on returning!!

I love staying at Doug’s. It feels like home or a relative. He keeps the house well stocked and provides little extras from hot choc and coffee and snacks in the kitchen to q-tips and cotton balls in the bathroom. Extra blankets and pillows are easy to find. He wants your stay to be flawless.

Doug's house was perfect for us! In fact, I commented to my husband that I felt right at home from the moment I stepped inside. The house is tastefully decorated but not cluttered. Everything felt so clean. Doug had stocked the kitchen and bathroom with several items to add to a visitor's comfort. Whenever we reached out to Doug, before the trip and once while we were in his house, he immediately answered. We loved the pastures of sheep we could view from the house. Very good experience!!
