Great location, lovely stay!

The house had lots of charm, and was cozy, and halldis team was helpful, but there was a fair amount of things not working with the unit. Coffee machine, many of the light fixtures/lamps, washer and dryer, etc. Seems like every time we tried to use something it wasn’t working. Parking was difficult (but that is lake como) and the layout for the 2nd room wasn’t ideal (right beside the big room with no door… kind of connected). All in all, probably wouldn’t stay again for these reasons.

Beautiful apartment. We liked staying in Moltrasio. It is less touristy than other Lake Como towns with some good, affordable restaurants. I will echo other reviewers that the lack of A/C would be a major problem in hotter months, so be aware.

A shame to write my first bad review in 11 years of using AirBnb. You can tell the place was probably excellent 15 years ago. I’ll start with the positives, the location is incredible, the views are stunning and the two balconies are great. It’s also a great size and the shower was nice. The bed was comfy too. However, there are quite a few issues that make the cost unreasonable. As others have mentioned, there are lots of lightbulbs that don’t work and it’s clear the management company don’t really care. The stand fan in the bedroom is broken and won’t stand on its own. The washing machine doesn’t work and left our clothes sat in a pool of dirty water. The place is pretty run down with damaged walls and sofa. It was also not the cleanest with food remnants in the dishwasher and on the plates and bowls. As well as dirt in the bath and elsewhere around the place. I will note that AirBnb helped resolve the issues presumably along with the owner. A shame as it could be exceptional!

The pictures accurately reflect this beautiful property. It is tucked away in beautiful small town within walking distance to restaurants and the water ferry. The only challenge I would share, is if you have a vehicle, parking can be a bit tricky which is no reflection on the property. Overall, we had an amazing time spend there.
