This peaceful enclave on Lake Como is away from the bustle of Como or Bellagio, but well connected by bus or ferry. Emily’s home is close to the ferry and well furnished. Our hosts were responsive and helpful and we loved our time here.

We had a lovely stay at this property! Having never visited Lake Como before, we were blown away by Torno’s beauty and the beauty of the surrounding towns. We didn’t have a car, but the ferry and buses made it easy to get around. Torno is a peaceful town, and has a small grocery store, pharmacy and several restaurants; which was all that we needed. The house itself is a beautiful building with a stunning view from the kitchen window (as pictured). Every room is situated on a different floor however, which wasn’t an issue for us but could be for other guests. During our stay the temperatures averaged around 28 degrees celsius, and the house did get quite warm. The fans in every room, and the AC unit on the top floor did help to make it a bit more bearable though! The place was clean and well-equipped, and the team behind the house were very helpful. You receive a link to a guidebook-style website with FAQs before arrival, which was super useful. Overall, we had a wonderful stay!

This is a nice apartment to rent on Como. Torno is a nice town, but beware that it is very small and only has 3 restaurants really. They are often completely full at high season so would recommend having a car if you stay at this place. The presentations of the bedrooms and bathrooms are a slightly misleading on this listing. There is one very nice main bedroom on the top floor. Big bed for two people, en suite bathroom that is modern or recently renovated. A/C in this bedroom (necessary because it's hot in the top level). Below that is the kitchen and living room. Below that is a smaller bedroom with a comfortable bed and en suite HALF bathroom. This bedroom does not have a shower! This is not made clear in the listing. Below that, in the basement, is another "bedroom" with two single beds. This room is a bit dungeon-like. There is also a bathroom down in this basement with a shower. Be warned that this place only has two showers.

Très beau logement dans un cadre idyllique ! L'agence est très réactive et professionnelle ! La vue est superbe, elle donne sur le lac ! La literie est de bonne qualité. Maintenant c'est une maison sur 4 étages, on fait de l'exercice ! La climatisation n'est que pour l'étage sous les toits ! La température de l'eau de la douche et de la baignoire n'a pas toujours été assez chaude même s'il faisait parfois très chaud. Le matin nous aurions aimé une eau plus chaude. Il faut aussi être conscient qu'il n'est pas simple de se déplacer dans cette région, les bus sont souvent pleins, les horaires des bateaux ne sont pas toujours respectés ! La voiture reste donc le moyen le plus pratique même si tous les parkings sont payants 7j/7 ! Le train n'est par contre pas cher, en profiter pour se rendre à Milan. L'accès au garage, surtout pour en sortir était compliqué nécessitant de nombreuses manœuvres. Globalement magnifique séjour dans un très beau logement et superbe région.

We all thoroughly enjoyed the house, the facilities and how well-furnished the house was. The view form the dinner table is spectacular. The bathrooms are nice and clean. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. I also loved the library and enjoyed reading a couple of books.
