Arrived and there was hair in the sink, shower and splatters in the loo. There was a mouldy wooden spoon and dirty knife in drawer, sugar bowl was dirty, fridge wasn't clean. There were cobwebs and dead bugs throughout the property, and living room cushions were dirty. The host was away, I contacted her and sent photos of the dirt. She messaged and apologised and came round the next day but no offer to clean it. She admitted it hadn't been let since the end of November (almost a month ago) she put fresh bedding on but didn't check the rest. No offer of a discount. She emailed to ask about the poo bags from our dogs which we double bagged, and put in the rubbish bin and left outside of the property as we have done with every dog friendly air bandb if there isn't a separate bin provided. We left the place cleaner than we found it. The host didn't make us feel overly welcome and sent far too many pestering emails, including asking us what time we were leaving when check out listed as 10am

Had a lovely stay at Jackie's with my husband and dog, the location was fab and the ski barn was a home away from home with everything we needed! Super easy access to the moors and Tavi mean you always have something to do! We had a lovely baby moon, would definitely recommend. Thanks Jackie!

Great location for access to cycling trails and Dartmoor. Quiet barn with cosy space for two. Would happily stay in the future.

The cottage was lovely and perfect for our short break in Tavistock Jackie was very supportive when our plans changed, making space for an extra guest to stay at very short notice. Thanks for all your help Jackie, it was much appreciated by us all

To be able to open the main gate and walk directly onto Dartmoor was a real treat. The location couldn’t have been more perfect for what we were looking for. The barn was well furnished and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped.
