I wanted to be right in the heart of Montreal for easy walking and metro. I had a car rental and that was challenging for street parking in this neighborhood, but if you want to walk and transit this location is a dream.
Nice and comfortable place to stay. I would recommend.
L’appartement est très bien situé sur une rue commerçante avec nombreux magasins et restaurants. Cependant, pour y avoir accès il faut gravir un escalier très raide et cela n’est pas évident si l’on arrive avec des bagages car il n’y a pas d’ascenseur. Cela devrait être mentionné sur l’annonce. Le nettoyage est aussi à revoir, nous avons trouvé le logement très poussiéreux à certains endroits comme le plan de travail ou la plaque à cuisiner et avons du repasser derrière alors que les frais de ménage été inclus lors de la reservation. Mis à part ça l’hôte est plutôt réactif et nous avons passé un agréable séjour.

Pros: Fantastic location with plenty of bars, restaurants and cafes near by. The apartment is good for an extended weekend break. Nicely decorated, has all utensils you need. Host gave super recommendations. Cons: The main light above the bed kept flickering throughout the night. I did contact the host about this but his response was unclear so hopefully it can be fixed for future guests. The water pressure especially in the shower was very weak. The bed was not overly comfortable nor were the pillows. They felt dated and could probably do with being updated. Overall it’s a very nice apartment in a great location within walking distance for exploring. If these cons can be looked at and maybe updated then it would be a 5/5 instead of a 4.3/5.
