Micah & Alicia are outstanding hosts. They checked with me every day, before my stay & getting ready to depart so I would know exactly what to do & how to do it. This historic building, situated next to Ypsilanti’s train depot, was inhabited by 129 Civil War soldiers prior to their deployment in 1861. The original building burned to the ground a few years ago, was purchased by the current owners 4 years ago. They resurrected the old building, complete with the tasty Thompson Co. restaurant & bar downstairs. It was reopened 2 years ago, so you will be staying in a ‘new’ historic hotel! I loved the brick walls & having a well stocked kitchen to make Christmas cookies for my granddaughters 🎄. Thank you for a pleasant stay!

Michal + Alicia’s place was great. Very clean and comfortable. Close to restaurants and the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Couldn’t have had a more pleasant stay. Thank you.

micha and alicia's place is beautiful and very clean. Close to restaurants, bars, and shops. Despite the fact that it is over a restaurant and bar, it's very quiet. Something most people don't address in reviews; the beds and couch were super comfy. If you're in the area and need some place to stay, don't hesitate! Book this loft now. You won't regret it!
