We stayed in the Bolt hole cottage with our two young children, we all really loved the cottage it's beautiful, quaint and a superb location and Katie provided extra amenities for us like high chair, stair gate, and travel cot all of which made our stay so comfortable and enjoyable. We will 100% be back again.

What a fantastic place to stay, the home is so fabulous it’s right in the middle of town but back so it’s private. I loved the area. Great walks close by as well as cafes and restaurants and it’s also peaceful - it covers everything you could want.

superb house in a beautiful area with a well kept secluded garden.. shame it rained and we couldn't make the best use of it. would highly recommend this gorgeous house!

The Bolt Hole is picturesque and spacious. It is in a nice location, off the main street in town, but it is tucked back, making it quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the Bolt Hole and then took day trips around the Cotswolds. It was a nice central “hub” for sight-seeing. There were a few problems that clouded our experience. When we arrived, there were ants and we found a sizable dirt pile, where they had pushed their way in. Katie dropped off ant traps & repellent, which we appreciated. Secondly, some of the bedding was stained. When we asked for clean sheets, Katie did bring new store-bought bedding within a few hours. Once again, we appreciated that. Finally, there was an electrical issue with a light switch crackling and not functioning properly. The owner came to assess the situation and deemed it safe for now, although needing an electrician to fully fix it. Before our trip, we had high expectations for this place. We still enjoyed our time, but had a few disappointments.
