We loved our stay in Chilmark! The house is located perfectly in a private quiet area of the island. It was wonderful to have the sea view out of every window. We loved the rustic charm of the home that has clearly been loved by generations of the same family. Madison was super helpful and responsive at every moment. The location is super convenient to all our favorite spots in Menemsha and Chilmark. We were traveling with our 3 year old son and the house was well suited for family with a small child. We were concerned about the cliff down to the beach but the house is safe and set back slightly from the drop off. We hope to return again some day to this magical spot! Thank you for an amazing vacation.

We had a wonderful stay at Miranda’s place in Chilmark (Menemsha). The description provided was perfectly accurate - it’s a very cozy, really beautiful cottage with gorgeous views of the Vineyard sound (especially from the 2nd story deck) and steps down directly to the water. We were a family of 5 (three kids 5-11), and this home worked perfectly for us. It’s private at the end of a dirt road with neighbors not too far away, but you really only see the other houses (though partially blocked views with trees in between) at the back of the house. All water views feel and are completely isolated. We enjoyed a beautiful week in August and spent most days on the beautiful Lucy Vincent beach (passes available to renters, which worked out great). Really special place. I’d highly recommend it - if the description on Airbnb is what what you’re looking for, you won’t be disappointed.

Stayed at this gorgeous home with my 3 daughters for our first trip to the Vineyard and the pictures do not do it justice! The view is to die for, and the sunset is absolutely breathtaking. It’s very private, but Menemsha and it’s beach and fish market is 5 minutes away. It’s a drive to Oak Bluffs, grocery store etc. but that was only an issue for us because of teens that wanted to be on the go. It was spotless, and I can’t say enough about how clear Miranda was about everything, down to detailed instructions and even labeled cabinets. She is so quickly responsive…like within minutes. There’s a laundry room and even beach chairs and an umbrella that we used which was super helpful. Did I say the pictures don’t do it justice?
