We absolutely loved our stay at the cottage. Perfect and private for our family of 4 (including a baby and a big dog), Dean’s really felt like a home away from home. Cozy, beautiful, authentic. Dean was incredibly responsive, kind and generous - he gave us the OK to walk up to the main house (vacant at the time) to watch the gorgeous sunset. What a property!! Everything is so well taken care of and constructed, you can feel how much love has gone into the place. Should you be looking for something adorable off the beaten path - the starview ranch cottage (or anywhere on the property!) is the place to go. Thanks Dean!

Had everything we needed but more than anything was quiet and private. Really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. We explored Sequoia and Kings Canyon NPs from here, very easy access though the road is super curvy so it does take longer than the mileage would suggest. Dog friendly! Dean had clear instructions and checked in with us initially but we had no issues so didn't need to communicate more. Overall really happy with our stay and would happily come back in the future.

Great spot to relax while visiting Sequoia NP. 40 mins to Gen Grant. 80 mins to Gen Sherman. Enjoyed quiet mornings with the sun coming up over the mountains and watching the hummingbirds on the patio. Great kitchen, very clean. Would stay again.
