I was traveling by myself for a gallery opening in town and needed a safe, quiet place that I could leave the car and explore all weekend. This loft was PERFECT. I felt so glamorous as soon as I walked in the door. I listened to a vinyl record while I unpacked and settled in. There were soft blankets for me to snuggle up in. I’m from NC and it was 89 degrees at home when I left - the 32° morning temps were a bit of a surprise for late April. The coffee beans and bean grinder were luxurious in the morning and I could run downstairs and grab a bacon, egg & cheese croissant from the doughnut shop to go with my super fresh brew. I walked everywhere I needed to go and parked where Kevin suggested so I wouldn’t get a ticket or get towed. I had a lovely weekend in this charming town. My little palace in the sky was the perfect landing place.

My partner and I had a great time staying at this loft in downtown Monroe! The view from the living room looked out over the downtown square which was great and we enjoyed the decor and vibe of the apartment itself. The host was kind and made sure to give full instructions on how to get in/ expectations for the stay/ check out instructions! I would definitely recommend if you're looking to stay in Monroe for a little get away!

Besides the outstanding atmosphere that Kevin created in his loft, the square is an excellent location. My favorite thing is the music that plays outside. You hear this old school jazz/lounge music playing in the background, people laughing and birds singing, and it's just perfect. Kevin's loft allowed us to be worry free, and feel as though we were in a top of the line, hip and chic retreat. Neither me or my husband wanted to leave, and we are STILL saying we want to go back!

Great place. Very nicely decorated, clean and quiet. Great location for exploring Monroe. Definitely check out the donut place downstairs. Kevin was very responsive when we had an issue. We would definitely stay here again!
