Such a perfect place for our trip. Been coming to saladita for years now and this was hands down the best place we have stayed. Perfect location and quiet and private and well designed. Definitely coming back

Our flight was delayed and we arrived a day late, then we were an hour and a half late checking out. Johanni was flexible and helpful around that. She was also quickly responsive to any questions and pleasant in general. The property is peaceful and the high walls provide a little escape and security. The house itself is a bit cramped, and made of concrete and metal so it feels hard and sharp. But it’s clean, the bed is comfortable, and a very short walk to the wave. It was overall a solid stay, but one unpleasantry of being charged $30 (yes, dollars) for a broken coffee mug really spoiled things. The kitchen set has a bunch of ragged utensils and pans usually found in these rental properties and this mug was a $30, hand crafted piece of art evidently. The home manual, which was referenced to justify the charge, says cleaning and maintenance should attend the property every three days, which didn’t happen. Yet, $30 for a mug. We’ll go elsewhere next time.

I loved staying at Johanni's place for a few nights and already can't wait to return. It is peaceful, quiet, and perfect for two. Comfortable bed, great kitchen to cook in, and close to the surf. What else is needed!? The courtyard is incredibly spacious and shaded and allowed my friend and I to feel like we could carve out space from one another. Most importantly, Johanni is an incredibly generous and accommodating host. She went above and beyond for certain last minute requests we made and I felt very grateful.

This place truly met and exceeded our expectations. To be honest, I thought the photos might have made the space look nicer than it is, but the aesthetic of this space was such a pleasure to live in for a few days. The courtyard is huge - you'll feel surprised at how much space there is surrounding the main building. We enjoyed 4 quiet nights here and enjoyed every minute. If it's in your budget, go for it. You won't regret it!

We loved our stay at Johanna's home. It was beautiful, private, and perfectly set up to accommodate sufers. quick walk down to the beach where you can easily rent a board for the day. Johanna was super responsive and accommodating. hopefully one day we can come back!
